Awards & Recognition

  • Members are recognized each year at our annual Desert Diamond Awards Gala in June. Categories include: Business Owner of the Year, Member of the Year, Corporate Parter of the Year, Unsung Hero, Bridge Builder.

    Bi-Weekly E-communications
  • Stay connected with these email reminders. They are a wonderful source of current happenings and events in NAWBO Phoenix Metropolitan Chapter!

    Buddy Program
  • Get-a-Buddy; Be-a-Buddy! All new members, who request, are paired up with an established member of NAWBO to make them feel welcome and have a smooth transition into NAWBO membership.
  • All members are provided the option to give back and become a buddy to a new member – great way to do some extra networking and make long-lasting friendships!

    Committee Involvement
  • Take an opportunity to get involved with NAWBO. Active committees include: Ambassadors, Awards, Buddies, Communications, Community Alliances & Diversity, Corporate Partners, Greeters, Membership, NAWBO U, NAWBOards, Programs, Public Policy, and Special Events.

    Community Alliances & Diversity
  • NAWBO members are encouraged to attend meetings and events of our Community Alliance Partners – NAWBO members may attend these events at the member rates – just be sure to inform them you are a NAWBO member.

    Corporate Partner Discounts
  • NAWBO members are invited to do business with Corporate Partners, many offer discounted rates and services to members – just ask.

    Dual Membership
  • Dual membership is available to those members who own multiple companies or who wish to represent two companies
  • Dual membership is recognized by the Phoenix Chapter only (i.e. No National membership benefits will apply to a secondary membership)
  • Secondary memberships will not offer an additional vote

    Education
  • There are many opportunities to educate your self and develop skills that will enhance your business – they include luncheon speakers and programs, NAWBO University, mentoring & NAWBOards.

  • There is a vast number of opportunities to reach out and touch members including directory and newsletter advertising.

    Marketplace Tables @ Monthly Luncheons
  • Members are encouraged to purchase a table at any regular monthly luncheon to sell, display and market their business to all luncheon attendees – cost is just $50.
  • Membership Directory - Printed and Online

  • Printed each winter, the printed directory of NAWBO Phoenix Metropolitan Chapter members is available only to members and is the “go-to” resource for all things NAWBO Phoenix Metropolitan Chapter.
  • 24/7 access to NAWBO Phoenix Metropolitan members on the online directory
  • Additionally, you will have access to all NAWBO members through the NAWBO National web site database.
  • NAWBO women do business with other NAWBO women!

    Mentor Program
  • Is a peer-to-peer business model where the primary goal is to foster learning.

    Neighborhood NAWBO – Biltmore, Desert Ridge, East Valley, Mentoring, Scottsdale, West Valley
  • Neighborhood NAWBOs are much more intimate than the monthly luncheon and provide a fantastic opportunity to build relationships and find support and answers to business questions.

    Networking
  • Take advantage of the numerous networking opportunities: prior to the luncheon and for a half hour afterward (before NAWBO U), at special networking events, at NAWBOards, at Welcome Meetings, etc.

    Opt-In Email Group
  • Members in good standing may "Opt-In" to have their marketing messages sent to fellow group members.

    Women’s Enterprise Foundation (WEF)
  • NAWBO Phoenix Metropolitan Chapter is dedicated to giving back. Our 501c3 charitable organization raising money and provide grants to women business owners, mentoring programs for women, scholarships and grants.
